So yesterday i posted some pictures and i am posting a rew more now. All is still going great. I think he is in what people have warned me about the "3 week growth spurt". He is eating like a horse! He took another bath yesterday and hated it just as much as he hated the first one! We are all doing great though and hope to see all of you soon.

So I am finally getting some pictures posted for you all to be able to enjoy. Of course more to come later but this is for now. All is good here and with mommy and baby. Chip is above his birth weight and doing great! We are actually able to get some sleep at night; he is sleeping 5 - 6 hours at night!mommy and daddy are adjusting to everything and learning new things every day! We are all so thankful for the prayers and gifts and words of enouragement! enjoy the pics and we'll post again soon.

what a terrible mom!

Hello everyone! so i know that i've been horrible about posting pictures and talking on here about our new life with Chip but its still a learning experience how to juggle 1 million new things on top of the million other things we've learned to juggle so far. Tomorrow i amg oing to start back to work part time and when i get there, i will have a faster computer to be able to load pictures and share things about our new life with this beautiful and precious new baby. Sorry to keep you waiting but maybe the anticipation of it will make it that much better! :-) Will post tomorrow...

ITS A BOY!!!

So as of yesterday morning at 7:48, we welcomed a new little baby boy into the family! Weighing in at 6 lbs 1 oz, 19 3/4 inches long, and a head full of black hair, we said "hello" to Anthony Paul Sharp, Jr. aka "Chip." We were so thankful that we were as blessed as we were to be able to have an easy and fast delivery! Starting at about 2:00 in the morning, I was up and realized that I was having contractions about every 1o minutes, woke Tony up, we packed our stuff, took showers, and headed to the hospital. Arriving at the hospital at about 4:00, we got settled in the L/D room and the contractions were at about 2 minutes apart. By 6:45 I was ready to start pushing but had to delay a few minutes until the nurses and staff could ready the room for the delivery that they weren't expecting for another 8 hrs. (I told everybody i had better things to do than to fiddle-fart around in this labor thing!) By 7:00 i started pushing and at 7:48 he arrived! I'm only going to attach one picture for now and getting ready to take a nap but rest assured that more is coming! Have a good evening and we'll sign on again soon to catch up with the rest of the highly demanded picture requests!

37 Weeks and 2 days

Ok, so it's been "forever" according to some of you since I've posted, but really, there's not been much to tell 'til now. We went to the doctor this morning and we got another weight check on the baby. Still small but still just as healthy as one could hope for. Weighs in at approximately 5 lbs 11 oz and is just as low, at least I think so, as it can go without being BORN!!! lol Anyway, all is good and we got a picture of its smushed little face. You can't tell much from it but maybe you all will be able to tell enough.

We're on the countdown now, so who knows when this little one will be here but we sure are ready to meet the munchkin!
