"Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies." --Babycenter.com
Well, we're still working on the baby's room and it's actually coming to something other than just paint! You all would be proud! We've gotten the scripture and the sayings chalked on the walls and now, just to get them painted and the 'decor' is actually all starting to come together. I'm hoping to have the rest of my furniture by the 22nd when my brother comes home and helps Tony load and unload it and other than that, we're just waiting for this little one to show up. My back and leg are a smidgen better but really, it won't be best 'til rugrat here gets off my pelvis. Other than that, we're just in "hurry up and wait" mode and starting to get really excited! Hope all is well with everyone and we can't wait to introduce you to the new one ASAP!!!
